Death 12/24/1907 Van Busch, Mrs. William, was killed by her husband at their

home in Sharon, PA on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 1907.  She is survived

by a daughter, Mrs. George Conway, who had given birth to a

daughter on Saturday.  Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Union City,

PA

Aart, 53, died at Hamot Medical Center.  He was born in Fair Lawn, NJ on March 10, 1923 to Orie and Marie Molnar Van Dam.  He is survived by his wife, Martha Van Dam; two daughters:  Mrs. John (Ruth) Dobson of Park Forest South, IL and Mrs. Frank (Esther) Dovacs of Indianapolis; four sons:  Rev. David Van Dam of Morgan City, LA, and Andrew, Timothy and Philip Van Dam at home; four grandchildren; three sisters:  Mrs. Veronica Banagura of Teaneck, NJ, Mrs. Betty Bickel of Wayne, NJ, and Mrs. June Savage of Binghamton, NY; and four brothers:  Walter Van Dam of Wayne, NJ, Don Van Dam of Farhills, NJ, Frank Van Dam of Haskell, NJ, and Del Van Dam of West Milford, NJ.  He was buried in Altoona Cemetery in Altoona, Kansas.
Death 10/12/2003 Van Dee, John P., 63, died at Corry Memorial Hospital.  He was born on May 27, 1940 in Keswick, IA to John Edward and Maude Iris Henry Van Dee.  He was preceded in death by three brothers:  Robert and Fred Van Dee, and an infant brother.  He is survived by his wife, Wilma Cole Van Dee of Union City; a daughter, Cynthia Bacon and her husband, Scott, of Union City; a son, John Robert Van Dee and his wife, Sara, of Union City; two sisters:  Barbara Volk and her husband, Maurice “Gene” of Waupaca, WI and Frances Pilkington and her husband, Lloyd, of North English, IA; and six grandchildren.  He was buried in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Russell (Martha) Weed of Mill Village; a sister,

Mrs. Georgia Gray of Centerville, PA.  Interment in Riceville

Cemetery.

Death 8/1/1977 Van Epps, Alice, 79, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Earl (Violet) Wheeler, in Busti, NY.  She was born in East Hickory, Forest County, on June 23, 1898 to Charles and Lizzie Sartorti.  She is survived by two daughters:  Mrs. Earl (Violet) Wheeler of Busti, NY, and Mrs. Walter (Frances) Jackson of Binghamton, NY; a son, Charles J. Van Epps of Sugar Grove; two sisters:  Edna Mazy of Endeavor, PA and Margaret Gold of Oil City; and 12 grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. VanEpps and a daughter, Gladys Goss.
Death 10/10/1978 Van Epps, Arlo T., 60, died at Union City Memorial Hospital.  He was born July 30, 1918 in Centerville to Frank E. and Myrtle Thomas VanEpps.  He is survived by his wife, Lenna VanEpps; two daughters:  Mrs. Thomas (Cynthia) Cochran of California and Carol Herman of St. Petersburg, FL; four sons:  Thomas VanEpps and Jeffery VanEpps of Sligo, PA, Norman VanEpps of Emunclaw, WA, and Duane VanEpps of Union City; a stepson, David Voser of San Diego, CA; a brother, Lester VanEpps of Bradford; and 10 grandchildren.

Death 3/8/1972 Van Tassel, Archie H., 81, died at Corry Memorial Hospital.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Conner Van Tassel on August 10, 1953; three daughters:  Isabelle Shreve, and Marjorie and Pearl Van Tassel; three brothers:  Leo, Alvie, and Robert; and two sisters:  Bessie Ash and Pearl Baker.  He is survived by three daughters:  Mrs. Ross (Leola) Kente of Wattsburg; Mrs. Norman (Arloene) Looker of Union City, and Mrs. Frank (Betty) Thomas of Union City; one son, Ivan Van Tassel of Centerville; fourteen grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; four step grandchildren; and one brother, Victor Van Tassel of Centerville.  He was buried in Riceville Cemetery.

Besides her husband, the deceased is survived by one son, Karl

daughter, Mrs. Walter Bryant on Monday, Nov. 9, 1953.

Besides Mrs. Bryant, she is survived by three other daughtes,

Mrs. Verley Chaffee, Mrs. Mary Rust and Mrs. Opal Bryant;

one son, Virgil Van Tassel; one sister, Mrs. Jessie Carey; one

brother, Dell Kinny; her husband, Elmer Van Tassel passed

away in 1941.  Burial in Riceville Cemetery.

Death 1/21/2004 Van Tassel, Irene L. Geer, 82, died at her home in Centerville.  She was born on November 22, 1921 in Bloomfield Township to Kenneth W. and Lula Kimmey Geer.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Rexford L. Van Tassel, whom she married on July 6, 1941, and who died in 1985; a sister, Audrey Drayer; an infant sister, Pauline Geer; two brothers:  Ron and Alfred Geer; and a granddaughter, Crystal R. Van Tassel.  She is survived by a son, Jerry R. Van Tassel Sr. and his wife, Patricia, of Corry; a sister, Marguerite Wolf of Union City; a brother, Les Geer and his wife, Rose, of Phoenix; three grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was buried in Riceville Cemetery.

Erie.  He was formerly from Union City; his wife Belle preceded

him in death in 1952.  He is survived by one son, Karl R.; two

brothers, Leon and Raleigh.  Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Union

Death: 7/15/1997 Venard, Eleanor Joyce Combs. Eleanor Joyce Combs Venard passed away July 15, 1997 in Camarillo, CA. She was born 4/12/1934 in Union City, PA to Forest and Mildred Combs. Joyce married Jerry Venard and they had three sons: John, Jay, Charles (Rocky) and a daughter, Natalie Venard Rouser (Mrs. Bruce). A sister, Evelyn Combs Miller (Mrs. Red) survives. Memorial services was held at Pierce Brothers Griffin Mortuary in Camarillo, CA. Member of the Class of 1952.

two sons, Lawrence and Milton, both of RD #1 Wattsburg; a half

brother Nellis Moore of CA and a sister, Mrs. Cora Jones of North

East.  Seven grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren also survive.  Services were held at the Glenn Funeral Home.
