The Union City Public Library is a full service community library,located in Union City, Pennsylvania, is dedicated to the informational and recreational reading needs of area residents. The library offers approximately 32,000 volumes of fiction, non-fiction and reference materials, internet access, word processing, story hours, and summer reading programs. Joy Luebbert, aka "The Queen of Crafts" will be conducting an after school art program for teens titled, "Altered Books" on Thursdays from 3:30 - 5:30 PM at the library. This program is being conducted in collaboration with The Main Street Art Center and Erie Arts and Culture. The altered books will include collage, found poetry and other art work as the students progress over the eight weeks. Classes are now in progress. The Union City Public Library participates in Access Pennsylvania and Power Libraries. This means that patrons can access a wealth of information beyond the library.
