The Union City Public Library is a full service community library,located in Union City, Pennsylvania, is dedicated to the informational and recreational reading needs of area residents. The library offers approximately 32,000 volumes of fiction, non-fiction and reference materials, internet access, word processing, story hours, and summer reading programs. All Muggles ages 11 and up are invited to a PotterPalooza Evening of Wizardry at the Union City Public Library on Tuesday, July 14 from 5:30 to 8:00 PM! Join us for our second year of magic and mystery. Come dressed as your favorite Potter character for the night, test your Quidditch skills, savor some of Hogwarts famous treats and more. . . Come join us on Tuesdays for Summer Reading fun! The theme this year is "Every Hero has a Story" and many local "Superheroes" will be visiting the library to tell their stories. Programs are scheduled for Tuesday mornings at 10:30 AM for younger children and Tuesday afternoons at 2:00 PM for tweens and teens. Joy Luebbert will be conducting the afternoon classes where the students will be creating altered books and other artistic projects. ALL EVENTS ARE FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
